- 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 3 Tablespoons of Sugar (optional)
- 1/4 Cup (1/2 stick) Vegan Butter
- 1 & 2/3 Cups of Water

I love waffles! The one little piece of equipment I love! But, they freeze so well so you could have a fun waffle making party!

I’m pretty sure I have the low end cuisanart. I bump it up to level 5 and even after it’s turned green saying the waffle is ready, I let it bake a minute or two longer to get it extra crisp on the outside. When you stack the hot waffles the steam can turn them soggy. That’s why I like keeping them in the oven. Makes them nice and extra crisp!
I LOVE sweet breakfast treats, so waffles and pancakes are fair game! Heck, I’ll eat them any time of the day given enough butter. We are trying meatless Monday in 2016, so I’ll be bookmarking this 🙂
Oh yes! We love to eat waffles for dinner. Cheddar waffles are so good!! (Waffle batter without sugar, spread half on the bottom, add cheddar in the middle and put the rest of the batter on top…. Mmmmm.
