  1. I always debate if I need a waffle iron….my kiddos would love it but I’m not wanting one more thing to store. The struggle continues….

  2. We have recently been obsessed with waffles. We will even eat them for dinner! Out of curiosity, what appliance are you using for the waffles? I am not a fan of the one we have now! 🙁

    1. I’m pretty sure I have the low end cuisanart. I bump it up to level 5 and even after it’s turned green saying the waffle is ready, I let it bake a minute or two longer to get it extra crisp on the outside. When you stack the hot waffles the steam can turn them soggy. That’s why I like keeping them in the oven. Makes them nice and extra crisp!

  3. I LOVE sweet breakfast treats, so waffles and pancakes are fair game! Heck, I’ll eat them any time of the day given enough butter. We are trying meatless Monday in 2016, so I’ll be bookmarking this 🙂

    1. Oh yes! We love to eat waffles for dinner. Cheddar waffles are so good!! (Waffle batter without sugar, spread half on the bottom, add cheddar in the middle and put the rest of the batter on top…. Mmmmm.

  7. We love Belgian waffles here – but I make those with eggs. I will have to try this! I probably should make a big batch of them since my kids are always begging for waffles and pancakes!

  8. I used to not like waffles, but I’ve actually grown to love them over the past year! I’ll have to try this recipe sometime. I love that it’s vegan. 🙂

  9. I love waffles, but it has been so long since I have made them! We moved 3 years ago and I never found our waffle maker. Maybe I’ll have to look harder so I can try this recipe. My kids love waffles!
