Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar is perfect for using leftover scraps from recipes that prevent more waste from going in bins. Plus who doesn't love something delicious from something you were going to throw out?

Tools and Ingredients Needed:

- Clean Quart Size Jar - Rubber Band - Swatch of Cloth - Apple Peels and Cores - Sugar - Filtered Water

Steps to Create The Apple Cider Vinegar

Place the apple scraps in the jar and fill the jar with water.  Add the sugar and shake.  Cover the jar with the cloth and a rubber band.

Place the jar where it is dark and let it sit for 3-4 weeks. Stir occasionally. Strain the apples and compost. Leave the liquid in the jar for another 3-4 weeks. Then it's ready to use!
