Plus My Favorite Easy Pumpkin Recipes

Learning how to roast pumpkin is the best fall activity I’ve ever  learned how to do. And I love all things pumpkin, so I’ve also included all of my favorite easy pumpkin recipes.

How To Roast A Pumpkin

Leave the stem in place, and cut the pumpkin in half. Scoop out the seeds and brush with olive oil. Arrange the slices face down on a lined baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes. Allow it to cool before serving!

PUMPKIN PUREE

Cut the pumpkin in half and scoop out the seeds. Put pieces face down on an oiled baking sheet and roast for about an hour. Then scoop out flesh and puree in a blender or food processor.

Most of the canned pumpkin pie filling you see on the store shelves doesn’t actually contain any pumpkin. Now, pumpkin pie filling typically has added sweetener and spices, so if you’re looking for pie filling, just add a bit of sugar and pumpkin pie spice.
